Here's how to enable your phone's camera if you initially declined the authorisation request. Please follow these steps:
1. Close your current session
Completely close the current session and clear it from your device's memory.
2. Access camera Permissions
Go to your device's camera permissions manager.
3. Select your browser
Find your default browser in the list (e.g., Chrome) and select it.
4. Change permissions
Change the camera permission from 'not allowed' to either 'all the time' or 'while using the app.'
5. Open browser settings
Next, open your browser's settings on your mobile device and look for 'site settings.'
6. Find camera settings
Search for or find 'Camera' and select that option.
7. Review blocked/allowed URLs
You may see a list of URLs under 'Blocked' or 'Allowed' headings.
8. Allow idkit.com.au
Look for the URL that has 'idkit.com.au' and change its permission from blocked to allowed.
9. Wait 3 minutes
Allow 3 minutes to elapse before trying your SMS link again. This prevents the system from thinking you still have another 'session' open and temporarily blocking access.
10. Retry the SMS link
Click the link in your SMS to start the process again.
11. Allow camera access
You will see a pop-up asking if you want to allow access to your camera again.
12. Select 'while using the app'
